There are two main types of couplings in this type of coupling: 1. The convex shoulder on the one and a half coupling is paired with the grooves on the other half couplings. The bolts that connect two half couplings can be passed by using the ordinary bolts of class A and B, and the torque is transmitted by the friction torque of two semi couplings combined.

The flange coupling material can be cast steel or forged steel by means of gray or carbon steel, heavy duty or in a circumference of more than 30 m/s.

The bolts on the flange are the size of the passing torque, all of which are bolted with hinged holes or half of the hinge holes with bolts and the other half with ordinary bolts.
